Christmas can be a challenging time, whether we’re with close family or far apart. It not only brings up all our memories from the past, but can also a time when we slack in our routines, indulge more and feel the consequences of old patterns creeping back in.
One of the trade-offs many of us had to made as children was between authenticity (being our true selves) and connection (receiving love and appreciation). As children, we didn’t have a choice and were dependent on the love of your caregivers. So we often sacrificed our authenticity for our need for connection.
Today, we do have a choice and hopefully learned how to get our need for love met in multiple ways. But going back into our family environment or having memories of that connection come up can challenge our base and tests our self-care.
This gathering is intended to equip you with the perspective and tools to navigate the holidays from a place of abundance and service, so that you and people around you can actually thrive, instead of just survive.
Through this, we can actually raise the vibration of our family gatherings and be an inspiration for others.
